By completing my online eBear (eRecruiting) profile I do hereby authorize the Center for Career Development, the director or designee(s) to grant access to and/or release of all information relating to me, contained in the computer files and hard copy files of said office, to all prospective authorized employers, or individuals deemed appropriate by the director or designee(s), for the purpose of furthering efforts to assist me in securing employment. I also acknowledge that documents I post will be reviewed and approved by CCD staff.
If any information provided in a registrant's eBear (eRecruiting) account, resume, or other application materials/activities is found to be inaccurate, disciplinary action through the Center for Career Development and/or the University's judicial system may be taken. Examples of misrepresentation, as they apply to the Center for Career Development, would include falsifying information provided during an interview, at a career fair, in a written resume or cover letter, and in eBear (eRecruiting) profiles, resume books, and uploaded resumes.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel a scheduled interview, if necessary, up to two (2) business days before the visit by notifying both the employer and the CCD. Cancellations less than 2 business days before an interview, or failure to attend an interview will be considered a ưno show.ư A no show reflects negatively on you, your school or college, and the University.
Penalties:
* First No Show, your eBear account will be "browse only" suspending your CCD privileges, to be reinstated or terminated at the discretion of the CCD. You must send a letter of apology to the employer with a copy going to the CCD.
* Second No Show, your eligibility for on-campus interviews through CCD will be permanently terminated.
I further understand that no further written release is required for the distribution of the information contained herein. After creating my online profile, in order to revoke this authorization, I must do so in writing to the Director of the Center for Career Development at Morgan State University and that such revocation shall not apply to information released for career/employment related purposes prior to such revocation.
